InHouse Mortgage provides seamless lending technology, ensuring successful management and development of your mortgage lending business.

To meet the needs of different mortgage lending operations, InHouse Mortgage is available in three product configurations:

Our Web-based enterprise platform has been designed to support the ten primary functions in mortgage banking, including:

  1. Web site design, implementation, and hosting to provide product, service, loan status, and company information to mortgage customers and business partners

  2. Point-of-sale applications for gathering information from borrowers and business partners that issue loan terms, disclosures, and underwriting conditions

  3. Loan origination software for managing loan data, borrower data, property data, general status reporting, and calculations

  4. Interface systems to send and receive data from real estate service providers, such as credit reports, flood determinations, automated underwriting, fraud detection, and closing documents

  5. Internal automated underwriting system that is simple enough for originators and sophisticated enough for underwriting portfolio loan products

  6. Document generation for applications, upfront disclosures, business processes, and closing documents

  7. Integrated imaging that is used from loan origination to investor delivery and for file archiving

  8. Interest rate and fee generation along with program qualification guidelines

  10. Reporting such as loan delivery, year-end fee reporting, and HMDA reporting for loan application disposition

Technology Specifications

PCLender's InHouse Mortgage is a "thin client" application, meaning it can be operated from most Windows-based computer workstations using a standard Internet connection.

Recommended hardware and operating systems are as follows:

  • PC with 450 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor clock speed
  • 128 megabytes (MB) or more of RAM (64 MB minimum supported, but may limit performance and some features)
  • Windows XP Home/XP Pro/2000 Pro/Me/98/95
  • 15 MB of available hard drive space
  • XGA (1024 x 768) or higher resolution video adapter and monitor
  • Broadband Internet connection (dial-up supported, but may limit performance)
  • Updated virus and firewall protection

InHouse Mortgage is written in CodeGear's Delphi. It is based on a relational database structure that offers superior speed; eliminates restrictions on critical information such as number of borrowers, assets, and liabilities; and provides a scalability path for thousands of simultaneous users.

All software updates are loaded automatically when a user logs on. User rights configured by the lender administrators determine what loans can be accessed and what activities can be performed on a loan. User rights may also be configured for limited data editing based on the status of loan files.

Single or multiple files may be imported or exported in Fannie Mae 3.0, Fannie Mae 3.2, or the MISMO format utilized by Freddie Mac to exchange data from other LOS or to proprietary automated underwriting systems. Reports with user-defined fields for individual records can have data exported in ASCII, dBase, Paradox, or Comma Delimited format. This allows simple integration with lead generation, marketing, contact management, payroll, servicing, and reporting programs in a manual report or automated batch process.

Web services are available for seamless technology integrations to proprietary lead systems and accounting, servicing, and reporting tools.
