PCLender Management Biographies

Cy Brinn
Chief Operating Officer

Cy Brinn oversees all aspects of PCLender.com's day-to-day operations, and is charged with growing the company while maintaining its high level of service and development. Brinn is responsible for effective and efficient operations of business across all functions within the company’s core corporate departments as well as strategic corporate and operations management. He brings a wealth of experience to PCLender.com, having served in a variety of leadership roles in real estate finance technology.

Brinn joined PCLender in June 2010 from GHR Systems where as president, he led the growth of the lending automation software and services company from 20 employees and $2MM of revenue to 200 employees and $38MM of revenue. There he continued to manage a successful integration while moving the company forward after its sale to Metavante. In his past, Brinn developed and executed strategic and tactical plans to expand business from one mortgage automation product to a suite of mortgage, home equity, consumer, and indirect retail finance products and services.

Prior to GHR, Brinn served as a Senior Vice President at the Quantra Corporation, in Northbrook, IL. Quantra provided loan servicing, property management, investment analysis for commercial mortgages and properties. Prior to Quantra, Brinn was the Manager of the Real Estate Group of Automated Financial Systems, an application software and consulting services company for lending and banking, in Exton, PA, and Senior Vice President of Charter Research Corporation, a client-server analytical software tool provider for commercial real estate and related securities, in Boston, MA.

Brinn received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Delaware.


David Faulkner
Chief Technology Officer and Founder

David Faulkner is responsible for PCLender's overall product design. Faulkner has diligently focused his expertise to enhance the PCLender LOS platform’s capabilities and functionality to go above and beyond industry best practices, regulatory standards, and an evolving mortgage banking environment.

He has more than twenty-five years of experience with software development and relational database programming. From 1987 through 1994, he worked as a consultant specializing in high-end relational database solutions. Faulkner was instrumental in creating the PCLender LOS software product leading up to incorporation of the company in 1999. He has coauthored a book on Delphi programming and contributed to two books on Borland's (Embacardero's) Paradox language. He has also written numerous magazine articles and made many speaking appearances on Paradox and Delphi applications.

Faulkner graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.


Sean Dugan
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Sean Dugan focuses primarily on developing the corporate strategy for business development, customer acquisition and revenue generation with PCLender's products and services. He spearheads sales and marketing initiatives, and is responsible for directing sales team initiatives and performance for the company’s nationally-based staff. Dugan provides a pulse on the software field for Loan Origination Systems, ensuring that we are positioned, prepared, and accountable to realize our growth objectives.

Dugan has over twenty years of experience in sales, marketing, and account management in the technology and mortgage technology field, including eight years as Senior Director for Excite@Home. More recently he served more than four years as executive vice president with Single Source Partners, a mortgage consulting firm assisting mortgage companies with the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology services.

Dugan graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.


Stephanie Durflinger
Senior Vice President, Product Management

As SVP Product Management, Stephanie Durflinger leads the company's efforts in strategic direction and prioritization of features and enhancements for all products. Durflinger is driven to ensure PCLender.com continuously offers relevant, cutting edge products that are easy to implement and that provide immediate and continuing return on investment for our customers.

Durflinger has been with PCLender.com since April of 2007. In her tenure she has led our Implementation Team, Account Management Team, Training Department and Support Team, as well as facilitated development efforts on special projects. Additionally, she was an administrator of our flagship product, PCLender LOS, during her previous employment. Her insight as a customer and then as a member of our PCLender.com team contributes to her well-rounded understanding and ability to match the needs of customers with the most advantageous technology solutions.

Prior to joining the PCLender.com team, Durflinger spent 17 years in the financial markets industry, most relevantly, 10 years in Mortgage Banking. She has been employed with First Collateral Services, Inc., Fidelity Capital Funding, Union Bank of California and NationsBank of Florida. First Collateral Services afforded Durflinger a landscape view of Mortgage Banking as she specialized in both operations management, secondary management and facilitated training of Mortgage Bankers. Fidelity Capital Funding is where Durflinger learned first-hand what it means to run a Mortgage Bank. She served as Mortgage Banking Manager and was introduced to IHM and PCLender.com. Earlier in her career she worked in Consumer and Commercial Lending markets with Bank of America and Union Bank of California, respectively.

Durflinger is a current member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and has earned her AMP designation. She has also completed American Management Association, Train the Trainer certification, as well as Commercial Banking with the American Bankers Association. Durflinger attended college at Los Medanos College.


Ross Haver
Software Development Manager

As Software Development Manager, Ross Haver orchestrates the development process for our PCLender LOS solution and related products. His primary focus ensures that PCLender Management Priority Watch List items are strategically planned for and delivered to customer specifications on schedule.

Haver has over twenty years of experience in IT project management including: program management, quality management, customer satisfaction management, data center management, and technical support management. As a former Program Manager at Verizon, Haver influenced changes in service delivery that were proven successful: documentation of procedures and milestones, pre-approval of statements prior to billing to ensure 100% accuracy, and monitoring all change management requests activity to ensure compliance with company processes.

Haver also served as Operations Manager/Project at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, where he assisted in the development, design, and testing of an asset management tool which remains the benchmark for Executive Presentations, and planning deployments system wide. He has also developed technical troubleshooting guides for Cisco Routers and Switches, Dell PowerEdge Servers, IBM-AIX, EMC Storage, ArcSight Security Systems, and McAfee appliances.

Haver received a Bachelor’s of Art, Psychology/Biology from Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio. He also holds a Master Certificate in Project Management , Villanova University, Cisco Systems Network Associate Training Certification, and ISO9001: 2000 Lead Auditor Certification, ANSI-RAB Accredited.


April Pongitory
Senior Vice President, Implementation and Professional Services

April Pongitory leads PCLender's Implementation and Professional Services teams and is responsible for successfully guiding clients through the critical system transition phase. She also provides superior leadership for all custom development and services requests from initial requirements gathering through project completion.

Pongitory joined PCLender in 2010 as Vice President of Implementation Services. Prior to that, she served as Senior Professional Services Manager for FIS, formerly Metavante and GHR Systems. In that role she successfully implemented lending automation software for community banks as well as mid-tier and national mortgage lenders. In addition, she managed customized software and consulting engagements in the United States and Caribbean markets. Previously, she held positions in consumer and mortgage loan operations for nearly ten years with several national lenders, including JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo, as well as several regional retail and wholesale mortgage lenders.

Pongitory holds a Master of Business Administration degree in International Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and French from Keene State College. She is an active member of several professional organizations including: American Society for Training and Development, Project Management Institute and Society for Advancement of Management.


Nic Siemer
Vice President, Customer Support

As Customer Support Manager, Nic Siemer is charged with leading a team of support and account reps to deliver the required support services effectively and efficiently to ensure customers are maximizing the value of PCLender products and services to become “High Functioning” mortgage bankers. He spearheads programs that support PCLender customers' achievement of quality mortgage lending benchmarks, including user and administrator support, video-based training and support collateral, and account management.

Prior to his appointed as the Customer Support Manager, he held the position of Account Manager for four years, providing a solid and consistently growing knowledge base relative to PCLender products and services, and honing customer service skills by managing and supporting customers nationwide. Siemer facilitated issue resolution, case management, software training and relationship development while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Siemer has tremendous empathy for customers' experiences and needs. He gained a great deal of insight into the mortgage banking industry through previous roles with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a Private Mortgage Banking Associate, at Island Title Corporation as Escrow Assistant to the Senior VP, and at Washington Mutual Home Mortgage as a Post Closing Coordinator.

Siemer received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University.


Jeremy Vierra
Vice President, Information Technology

Jeremy Vierra brings more than eleven years of IT management experience to the PCLender management team. Vierra manages the production environment as well as all internal and external systems with an overall focus on data integrity and security as well as scalability of systems. He has engineered two data center locations, including a redundant environment [with hot data – or edit text] and a disaster recovery center. He also established and maintains the Disaster Recovery/Business Resumption plan and compliance audits, such as the SAS 70 Type II annual certification that PCLender has held for several years.

Prior to his tenure with PCLender, he was employed by Memco Systems, a Hawaii-based technology consulting company, where he custom-designed databases for a multitude of customers and provided technology support for hardware, software, and networking issues.

Vierra graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems.
